$500 Country School Preservation Grant
The Country School Association of America provides $500 per year for the preservation of one-room and two-room buildings once used as country schools. If you or members of your organization are interested in applying for this grant, simply access the guidelines and application form through the links below. In Fairhaven, MA we are doing more restoring work on our 1828 stone one-room schoolhouse. My question is about roof gutters. Can you direct me to information as to whether or not they were installed in the early schoolhouses? Any sources you can suggest would be appreciated.
