My grandmother's home was a Sears Catalog house. It was built in her early second marriage. Her first husband died young and she remarried Tom who would become the county commissioner for decades. She liver the rest of her life in the house and died at 101 years. The house remains essentially the same except for some interior refinishing---drywall, etc. The shell of the house is unaltered ecept for repainting. The wood shell is of superior quality still.
